Pay Range
$37.50 - $56.25
$15,000 sign‑on bonus!
Major Responsibilities
Provides scrub support during diagnostic and interventional procedures; anticipates provider needs.
Competent in all roles for Cath/EP or IR.
Demonstrates competence in operation of all imaging and related equipment; serves as a radiation expert resource.
Provides clear communication, collaborates with providers and team regarding technical issue to ensure reliability of quality assurance in imaging, hemodynamics and oximetry.
Ensures patient care is delivered in a safe manner and within scope of practice. Sterile technique followed with prepping, draping, assisting and circulating.
Utilizes safety tools and tactics in all patient care interactions.
Serves as patient advocate, ensures documentation, educational needs identified and plan of care agreed upon.
Serves as resource to the team; provides inservices to team relating to technical skill enhancement, radiation safety, image quality, QA and closure device techniques.
Assist with supply inventory, serves as technical expert and resource.
Actively participates in site or system teams; attends site staff meetings and ongoing educational offerings as available.
Education / Experience Required
Current RT licensure in State of IL and current AART. BLS. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
2-year Associate Degree from Accredited School of Radiology.
Previous Imaging Experience Preferred in Xray, Imaging Special Procedures

Intermediate computer skills
Cathlab: Hemodynamic interpretation
Imaging equipment proficiency
Solid oral and written communication skills
Team player, flexible with assignments
Sterile Technique Expert
Cath: Scrub, Circulate, Record. IR: Scrub and Circulate. Process Images in PACS
Basic Patient Assessment Skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to perform lifting, pulling, pushing activities and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case‑by‑case basis.
