We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Data Engineer
to lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise-level
Workforce Management (WFM)
systems, with a strong focus on
WorkForce Software (WFS) . This role requires a deep understanding of system design, data engineering, and enterprise software integration, particularly in complex, fast-paced environments such as automotive or manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
Lead the
design, implementation, and support
of WFM systems, especially WorkForce Software (WFS). Own and deliver
complex system integrations
using APIs, web services (SOAP, REST), and ETL pipelines. Develop and optimize
SQL queries
for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into
data lakes
and analytical platforms. Design and develop
dashboards and reports
to support business decision-making. Ensure
system security and access controls
are implemented and maintained. Document system configurations, workflows, and integration processes. Apply
Six Sigma methodologies
to improve system performance and data quality. Support
system administration
and troubleshooting for web applications and SaaS platforms. Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering , or a related technical field. 9+ years
of experience in
Data Engineering . Minimum
5 years of hands-on experience
with
WorkForce Software (WFS)
or similar WFM systems. Strong knowledge of
SQL ,
Oracle , and
data architecture . Experience with
API integrations ,
web services (SOAP/REST) , and
ETL processes . Proficiency in
software documentation ,
system design , and
systems engineering . Familiarity with
SaaS platforms ,
web applications , and
system administration . Understanding of
access controls ,
warehousing , and
Six Sigma
principles. Experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
or similar cloud environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant technical field. WorkForce Software certifications . Background in
HRIS or payroll system implementations . Familiarity with
Ford Global Data & Insight & Analytics (GDIA)
tools and processes. Prior experience in the
automotive industry
or
large-scale manufacturing
environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced, dynamic
