A health system is seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Maine.

This position is for weekend orthopedic call coverage starting in January 2026 and continuing until a permanent provider is found. The call schedule runs from Thursday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 7 a.m. at a 250-bed, Level 3 trauma hospital using Cerner. The role is 100% trauma and inpatient, with mid-level support available. Candidates must be board certified or truly board eligible.
