Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing locum assignment in the Rockville area, supporting a leading healthcare system.

Contract Length: Ongoing until a permanent provider is secured
Position Details
- Setting: 50% Inpatient 50% Outpatient
- Support Staff: MDs and APPs
- Patient Load:
- Inpatient: patients/day
- Outpatient: 9 13 patients/day
- Inpatient Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of cardiology patients at Shady Grove Medical Center
- Conduct consults, subsequent visits, discharge planning, and collaborate with cardiologists and APP team members
- Outpatient Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear stress testing and follow-up visits (30 min each)
- Handle prescription refills, review diagnostic results, and communicate with patients as needed
