Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Dermatologist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical dermatologic care to a diverse patient population. This individual should demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing patient-centered, high-quality dermatologic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the skin, hair, and nails
- Perform medical and surgical dermatology procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, laser treatments)
- Provide cosmetic dermatology services as applicable (e.g., Botox, fillers, chemical peels, laser resurfacing)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in dermatology through continuing education and professional development
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology (American Board of Dermatology or equivalent)
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 2 5 years of post-residency dermatology experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in both medical and procedural dermatology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Expertise in cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology procedures
- Experience in Mohs surgery or surgical dermatology
- Interest in clinical research or teaching
