Job Description The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. Responsibilities Collect venous and capillary blood specimens from patients Demonstrate H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Knowledge of venipuncture techniques Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory applications and HHC computer systems Continuous improvement mindset Ability to handle different patient populations including difficult patients Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube We take great care of careers.
