We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a busy Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company to patients. There are opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections byvenipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
1 year of prior phlebotomy experience is preferred
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Reliable transportation and, if applicable, a clean driving record
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Work Schedule and Location Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:30 am to 1:00 pm; overtime and rotating weekends required
Work Location: Portland, OR
Benefits Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
Incentives Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
