Overview Field Commissioning Engineer - UPS, PDU, LV/MV Switchgear, Generator, ATS Responsibilities Commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling towers, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units. Test, troubleshoot, start up, and commission UPS, generators, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, PDUs, and power metering. Design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities. Proficiency in PLC control systems, especially the Rockwell Automation Platform. Expertise in electrical schematics and strong problem-solving aptitude. Advanced understanding of protective relays and circuit breakers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead site activities and meet project timelines. Dedication to safety protocols and maintaining a clean safety record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and willingness to work overtime including overnight stays. Monday through Friday national travel required with home every weekend. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with LV & MV electrical/mechanical power equipment. Experience with commissioning electrical systems and power equipment. Proficiency in electrical schematics. Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel extensively.
