This is an incredible opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a fulfilling role focused solely on urgent care — no routine wellness visits, no abdominal surgeries, and no overnight ER shifts . Position Highlights Urgent care only – treat walk-in, non-critical cases like GI issues, lameness, minor injuries, and palliative care No abdominal surgeries or routine wellness appointments Modern, state-of-the-art facility Fear Free and Feline Friendly Certified Excellent technician support and a low-stress culture Flexible scheduling including swing and second shifts Great local lifestyle in a growing, pet-loving community Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage urgent medical cases with efficiency and compassion Prescribe medications, perform diagnostics, and recommend next-step care Communicate clearly with clients regarding care plans and outcomes Document all patient records in a cloud-based EMR Collaborate with team members to uphold medical excellence Support the development of veterinary nurses via the LevelUp training program Qualifications DVM or VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE) Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in South Carolina 1–3 years’ experience in urgent care or small animal medicine preferred (new grads also welcome!)
