The Opportunity As an Embedded Electronics Hardware Engineer , you’ll be at the forefront of designing and developing the next generation of smart, energy-efficient products . Your expertise in power supply design , Altium , and UL compliance will help shape reliable, high-performance electronic control systems used in homes and businesses worldwide. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and bring innovative ideas from concept to production, ensuring every design meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. What You’ll Do Lead embedded hardware design — from schematic capture and PCB layout to component selection and BOM creation. Engineer power supply solutions that are efficient, stable, and compliant with project requirements. Design using Altium Designer , creating robust schematics and PCB layouts with precision and attention to detail. Ensure UL compliance , validating that all hardware meets required standards and certifications. Drive FMEA and reliability testing , anticipating failure modes and designing with long-term performance in mind. Prototype and validate your designs, troubleshooting and refining until the product meets or exceeds expectations. Document thoroughly , maintaining clear records of schematics, design decisions, and test results. Stay ahead of the curve , bringing fresh insights and improvements from the latest trends in embedded electronics. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 7+ years of experience in embedded electronics hardware design. Expertise in Altium Designer and power supply design principles . Strong understanding of UL standards , FMEA , and design-for-reliability methods. Exceptional problem-solving skills, precision, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Bonus Points For: Professional certifications or industry memberships. Experience with high-speed digital design , EMI/EMC , or SPICE simulation tools .
