American Precision Industries is seeking a qualified Outside Sales Representative to build new business and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Knowledge or background in CNC machining and/or other types of metals manufacturing. Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills. Excellent time management skills to include prioritization of tasks and execution to meet established deadlines. Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Analytical problem-solving, results/goal-oriented and accountable. Competitive, confident, presentable and assertive with a good work ethic. Team oriented. Reliable transportation. Responsibilities: Develop new accounts through disciplined prospecting and relationship building. Expand sales by building and strengthening relationships with prospective and existing customers through phone calls, face-to-face meetings, customer visits/tours and trade shows, including overnight travel. Perform consultative-based sales meetings with decision makers – Buyers, Engineering and Designers. Consistently perform and track sales activities that generate results.
