Job Description Based in Indianapolis, IN, the individual in this position is responsible for providing superior service for customers throughout Indiana. Responsibilities Assisting customers by phone and in person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales) Using the computer system to provide information on price and availability Order processing and related customer assistance, including processing special orders, presenting promotions, handling customer returns, and related tasks. Light warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping) Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders Outbound customer calls to assist in growing the business in the Midwest region Working in a team-oriented environment to exceed customer expectations and support customer retention goals and company growth objectives. Key Working Relationships The successful candidate will report to the Branch Manager in Indianapolis, IN, and work closely with other staff members and the local Outside Sales representative. Requirements Must be self-driven and hardworking 1–3 years of Inside Sales/Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred) Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Team player We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
