Lebanon, VA As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll lead efforts to refine and optimize manufacturing processes while collaborating closely with plant management to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Drawing on your knowledge and expertise, you'll design and refine manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement, and innovate solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Working hand-in-hand with plant management, you'll identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies. Responsibilities: Design and Optimization: Lead efforts to develop and refine manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Collaboration with Plant Management: Work closely with plant management to align manufacturing processes with overall business objectives, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing effective solutions. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions. Feasibility Studies: Assess the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of new methods, processes, and equipment to guide decision-making. Data Analysis: Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to optimize throughput and reduce cycle times. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and SOPs to ensure quality standards. Support: Provide leadership in resolving complex production issues to minimize downtime and improve operations. Lean Manufacturing: Champion lean principles, leading cross-functional teams to reduce waste and implement best practices. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing engineering with a track record of process improvement; recent graduates should demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and strong engineering fundamentals.
