Job Description A skilled Manufacturing Engineer responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting new product development while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to conceptualize, design and test new products and technologies, using the latest technologies to reach target costs (DtC) and improve parts manufacturability (DfM). Support commercialization activities, ensuring the successful launch of new products and processes. Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement best practices in advanced manufacturing techniques, including 3D printing, automation, and digital technologies. Conduct root cause analysis on NCR (Nonconformance reports) and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues. Collaborate with production teams, internal and external, to optimize manufacturing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Perform should-cost analysis to estimate the fair cost of materials, components, and manufacturing processes. Travel up to 10% annually as required for the role.
