Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our family-owned CNC machine shop in Bloomington. Our facility specializes in building parts for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Deere, CAT, AGCO, and Progress Rail. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality components. Responsibilities Design and build tooling and fixtures for new part production. Understand and implement the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process. Collaborate with OEMs and clients to enhance manufacturability and production processes. Work closely with the sales team to provide job estimates and calculate tooling and production costs for Requests for Quotations (RFQs). Essential Skills Proficiency in CNC machining. Experience with Creo for tooling and fixture design. Strong skills in process improvement. Ability to interface with customers effectively. Experience in manufacturing engineering. Work Environment The position is based in a family-owned CNC machine shop located in Bloomington. The work involves direct interaction with sales and engineering teams, focusing on enhancing production capabilities and ensuring high-quality outputs. The environment is collaborative, and the role requires hands-on involvement in tooling and fixture design. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
