Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need. The Position The Manufacturing Manager will work in the Plant Operations Group. They will supervise, train, and develop a team of Production Chemists/Technicians and be responsible for delivering non-GMP and GMP batches of drug substance for clinical, commercial, and toxicology needs. Responsibilities Track progress against project timelines, generate regular status updates, and communicate progress and issues to management, including presentations at team meetings Organize and lead a team of scientists in the implementation of new processes in a GMP environment Recruit, train, and mentor team members Oversee/guide writing of SOPs, WIs, and batch records Provide technical oversight during production, and suggest solutions for issues as they occur Collaborate with planning and program management to ensure schedule adherence Assist with manufacturing and other duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications and Educational Requirements BS or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or engineering field Minimum 5 years’ experience in a GMP/GLP laboratory setting Good verbal and written communication skills Experience with analytical techniques, especially HPLC Demonstrated leadership through leading direct reports or through matrix organizations Proficient in MS Office Suite Physical or Other Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Location and Compensation Wisconsin pay range: $110,000—$125,000 USD Location: Verona, WI Arrowhead provides competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package.
