Leading Healthcare Group seeking a Psychiatrist to work in Statesville, NC (1hr from Charlotte)

Our system is anchored by a 247-bed healthcare hospital Role is based at a 42 bed inpatient psychiatric facility We are a longstanding 501c3 organization deeply rooted in our community for 70 years! This opportunity would allow you to live in the gorgeous, highly sought after Lake Norman area, with over 500 miles of shoreline. Network boasts 27 practices, comprised of 12 primary care clinics, 10 specialty groups, 3 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 urgent cares. Our Healthcare System has over of 1,600 full/part/PRN staff members and over 175 licensed providers.

Role Description: Psychiatrist Physician Location: Statesville, NC (1hr north of Charlotte) Role is based at a 42 bed inpatient psychiatric facility Utilize advanced treatments cutting-edge therapies Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance-use disorders Deliver high-quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care Collaborate and supervise mid-level providers to ensure exceptional patient outcomes Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards Professional Growth – opportunities for leadership, research, and teaching
Requirements: NC Medical License and DEA. Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatry Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization. Ability to serve without prejudice or judgement regardless of lifestyle, race, economic status, age, or religious affiliation of patients.
