A hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located near Waterloo, Iowa.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30AM to 4:30PM, with weekend coverage needed but not on a set schedule. Call is required on weekends only, rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call, with 1st call being called in about 75% of the time. Night calls occur 7 days per week, every 3-4 days. Cases include general anesthesia with OB (including TOLAC) and healthy pediatrics, mostly tonsils and adenoids. There will be no cardiac or neurosurgery cases. Conscious sedation is also required. Clinic provider daily volume is 30-50 cases for the entire department.
