Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) to join a women's health team in Shelton, CT.

This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on comprehensive women's health, work-life balance, and quality care. Physicians will provide a mix of obstetric and gynecologic services, including prenatal care, deliveries, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and preventive care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages.

  • Perform prenatal assessments, manage deliveries, and provide postpartum follow-up.

  • Conduct annual exams, screenings, and preventive health visits.

  • Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, and menopause-related concerns.

  • Perform minimally invasive and traditional surgical procedures as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.

  • Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
