Schedule:
Day shifts (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., 10-hour days)
Approximately 10-12 twelve-hour shifts per month
Occasional night shifts available for providers who are willing
Practice Setting: 13-bed inpatient hospital with an active emergency department
Obstetrics/Operative Services: None

Patient Population: Emergency and inpatient adult and pediatric patients
This position provides emergency medicine coverage in a 13-bed inpatient facility with a busy emergency department. The hospital does not provide operative services or inpatient obstetrics. Providers should be comfortable managing a full spectrum of emergency presentations and collaborating with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. institution, or
Equivalent foreign medical degree recognized by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or with a Fifth Pathway Certificate for qualified U.S. citizens educated abroad
Residency Training: Completion of an ABMS-recognized residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
Board Certification: Required and must be maintained per ABMS standards
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted state license in any U.S. jurisdiction recognized by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB)
Nebraska license required (preferred in hand, but willing to license)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
