Position: Entry-Level Phlebotomist

Location: 10920, Biscayne Blvd Ste 17 And 18, Miami, Florida, United States, 33161

Duration: 4+ months

Shift Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm Mon-Fri, and 6:30am - 11:00am every other Saturday

About the Role:

• As the face of our company, you will provide exceptional care to patients, whether they are visiting for routine health checks or significant health insights.
• Your primary responsibility will be to expertly draw blood samples from patients and meticulously prepare those specimens for laboratory testing, adhering to our established practices and procedures.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere of trust and confidence is key, as you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures and performing blood draws with skill, safety, and accuracy.
• Exemplify leadership and process excellence while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy with patient information under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily activities while fostering a safe and professional environment.
• Confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties by following our established practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in alignment with our organizational policies.
• Commit to promoting a positive image of our organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Strong ability to deliver quality work consistently in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled at working independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Available to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is a must; medical training in medical assisting or paramedics is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; it is required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience:

1. Minimum of 6 months of experience is required.
2. One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
3. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is preferred.
4. Proficiency in keyboarding and data entry is essential.

This position is facilitated by a no-fee agency.

Starting Pay: $17.75/hr.
