Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCDL / Heavy Equipment OperatorThomasville, GA | $17.54 / HourWe are now hiring for a CDL / Heavy Equipment Operator to join a team. This position is responsible for operating various types of equipment and vehicles to support construction, maintenance, and other field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and be comfortable working on-call hours when needed. Responsibilities

• Drive flat bed and dump truck carrying construction materials and equipment
• Operate tractors, small ditchers, air compressors and pick-up truck
• Performs incidental tasks including digging, brush cutting, and loading or unloading of materials used in the operational process
• May operate in a training capacity or assist in the operation of heavier and more complex equipment
• Service equipment and make minor field repairs and adjustments; report need for major repairs to equipment
• Required to work on call hours

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
• Good written and oral communications skill
• Have knowledge of terms related to natural gas pipe and fittings
• Skill in the use of common hand tools and equipment
• Ability to constantly work outside and around hazardous machinery
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Willing to undergo criminal background check
• Clean drug screen

Location: Thomasville, GeorgiaPay Rate: $17.54 / HourSchedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30 PM
