Coverage Needed
- Start Date: Jan 2026
- End Date: 6-9 months duration
- Schedule: One week every other month
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
Clinical Details
- Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- Procedures: Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
- Required Procedures: Mammography, PET, breast biopsies
- Preferred: read PET in addition to any other studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, US, etc)
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
- Types of cases (average monthly volumes):
- Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
- Screening Mammos: 225
- Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
Requirements
- Board Certified - Highly Preferred
- or Board Eligible
- CA License
- Residency Required; no specific fellowship
- Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies
- BLS/ACLS and DEA
- Malpractice: Clean - Highly Preferred
- Must maintain MQSA Standards for 960 mammography studies interpreted every 24 months
