Job Description
Ameritas is looking for a Marketing Specialist - Retirement Plans that will support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and client engagement initiatives. You'll work closely with senior marketing strategists and marketing leadership to develop content, manage newsletters, event campaigns, and analyze performance to ensure results. This role is ideal for a candidate with foundational marketing skills, strong organizational abilities, and an eagerness to grow within the financial services industry.
Position Location:
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.
What you do:
Support the planning, execution, and tracking of integrated event marketing campaigns (email, digital, social media, webinars, and events).
Manage and maintain content libraries, digital sales rooms and sales enablement tools within Allego.
Plan, promote and support industry conferences and events by managing pre- and post-event marketing, logistics, and both engagement activities.
Assist in the creation of marketing collateral and client-facing materials.
Partner with senior marketing strategists on campaigns, audience segmentation, and reporting.
Track and report campaign performance metrics; recommend adjustments to improve ROI.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, product, consulting) to ensure brand consistency and alignment across initiatives.
Stay current on marketing trends, retirement industry developments, and best practices.
Manage workflow of initiatives through Workfront.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of marketing experience (internship or entry-level experience welcome).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), comfort with CRM/marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar) familiarity with Workfront or similar workflow management system.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Knowledge of the retirement plan or financial services industry, and familiarity with Allego are a plus.
