While this role begins as a temporary overnight assignment, there is the possibility to remain on with our team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity for future shifts. Examples of Job Responsibilities:
* Remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the overnight shift. * Monitor client(s) for safety, mobility, and comfort. * Provide assistance with toileting, repositioning, or other personal care needs during the night. * Offer companionship and reassurance if the client becomes restless, anxious, or wakes up. * Maintain a calm and supportive environment, redirecting and de-escalating if necessary. * Document nightly observations and care notes accurately * Assist with non-medical care needs, including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery * Communicate promptly with the office about incidents, changes in condition, or concerns. * Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed
Examples of Job Qualifications:
* Memory care is a preferred * Prior experience in caregiving, personal care, home care, assisted living, or healthcare preferred. * Ability to remain awake and attentive for the duration of the shift. * Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor. * Detail Oriented * Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. * Proficient communication skills * Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned * Be willing to work in Frederick, Carroll counties and the surrounding areas
