The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seaking a Dietary Aide to join our growing team.
Dietary Aide Job Description:
Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks
Dietary Aide Duties Include:
Assist in assembling and checking diet trays
prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
Label and date food properly
Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
Carry out garbage
Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience in LTC preferred but not required
Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
Able to follow and understand procedures
Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
Salary:
Up to $ 18 an hour
