Restorative Aide
and
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . This is a unique opportunity to combine restorative therapy support with hands-on resident care.
Position Overview:
This dual role will require the employee to work part-time hours as a
Restorative Aide
and part-time hours as a
CNA . The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting residents’ health, mobility, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
As a Restorative Aide:
Carry out restorative therapy programs as directed by nursing and therapy staff.
Assist residents with range-of-motion, ambulation, strengthening, and other restorative exercises.
Monitor and document resident progress, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
Encourage residents to maintain independence and mobility.
As a CNA:
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and grooming.
Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition.
Support nursing staff in maintaining a safe and caring environment.
Qualifications:
Current Florida CNA certification (required).
Prior experience as a Restorative Aide preferred, but training may be provided.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
Ability to work flexible part-time hours.
