The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.
Job Duties Include:
Performs a variety of tasks that keep the kitchen functioning.
Ensuring kitchen areas are clean by: sweeping, washing floors, keeping refrigerators up to standard, pot washing, organizing stockrooms and keeping other food service equipment clean and neat.
Helps to prepare meals and snacks.
Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the supervisor or assist in tray service, portioning and assembling a variety of foods.
Helps to load/unload food carts and organize meal tickets.
Transporting loaded food carts to and from resident floors.
Qualifications:
Dietary Aide experience preferred.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Follows direction in regards to compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures, and regulations.
Reliable and ability to work weekends as needed.
Strong attention to detail.
