Position Summary
The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a variable hours officer to work as a part of Dr. McKetta's NIH-funded health policy and mental/behavioral health research team and research projects. The work focuses primarily on women and LGBTQ + health disparities, as well as the structural and social determinants of these disparities.
The VHO will work closely with Dr. McKetta to provide analytic support to ongoing projects, including data monitoring and evaluation, IRB and other regulatory support, and generating reports. The VHO will also conduct analyses of existing datasets from national survey data,
assist in drafting manuscripts, and development of grant proposals.

Assisting with grant proposals, 15%

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Must have experience with data analysis in R and SAS
Strong writing skills
Experience with natural language processing
Experience using MPlus
Experience with multilevel models, survival analysis, latent modeling, and causal mediation
Interest in public health, women's health, or LGBTQ+ health
