Overview
Amazon Growth Marketing Analyst (Contract) at ZAGG, Inc. ZAGG is seeking a deeply analytical and results-driven contractor to lead the strategic optimization of our brand on the world7s largest marketplace. This role is laser-focused on leveraging data analytics to enhance performance and maximize the efficiency of paid media investments. The ideal candidate is a master of the Amazon Advertising platform, data-driven, constantly testing hypotheses and using actionable insights to drive sales growth, improve ROAS, and increase market share. Reporting to ZAGG’s Head of Growth Marketing & Analytics as part of the Digital team, you ’ll analyze and optimize our Amazon presence, digital marketing campaigns, and customer experience initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Establish and manage a robust reporting framework to monitor and analyze KPIs, including sales velocity, conversion rates, click-through rates (CTR), return on ad spend (ROAS), and Total Advertising Cost of Sale (TACOS).
- Perform deep-dive analyses into sales patterns, customer behavior, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis, tracking pricing, promotional activity, and advertising strategies to inform our own tactics.
Performance & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Analyze session and conversion rate data to diagnose and resolve issues hindering sales performance on specific ASINs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve organic search ranking through data-driven keyword research and listing enhancements.
- Partner with ops to systematically A/B test product titles, bullet points, imagery, A+ Content, and pricing to identify the highest-performing variations.
Amazon Media & Advertising Management
- Analyze media performance at a granular keyword level, optimize bids, budget allocation, and campaign structure.
- Report on media effectiveness, attributing advertising performance to overall sales growth and profitability.
- Partner with the Head of Growth to closely manage the media agency and provide timely guidance to improve performance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a highly analytical e-commerce role focusing on Amazon performance.
- Demonstrated mastery of the Amazon Advertising console with a proven track record of managing significant monthly ad spends and delivering strong ROAS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and ability to manipulate large datasets.
- Experience with Power BI as both a consumer and developer of reports (2+ years).
- Hands-on experience with Amazon analytics and advertising tools (e.g., Perpetua, Pacvue, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Intentwise).
- Data-Driven Entrepreneurial Mindset with a proactive, results-focused attitude.
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related quantitative field preferred.
