Job Summary

As a Sr. Manual QA Tester, you will conduct Software Quality Assurance testing activities to ensure that Claritev application products operate correctly and meet specified requirements, and to work as part of a team with influence across a larger organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications for Claritev applications. Create the corresponding test strategy, test plans, and test cases for the SQA team.
  • Execute SQA testing of Claritev applications in accordance with project documentation and aligned with company standards.
  • Perform APIs (functional) testing.
  • Perform back-end (database) testing using complex SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server databases. Perform regression and integration testing.
  • Analyze test results and log defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of identified defects and issues.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.
  • Note: due to exposure of PHI sensitive data, this role is considered a High-Risk Role.

Requirements (Education, Experience, and Training)

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience performing Software Quality Assurance testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Software QA automated test tools is a plus.
  • Strong experience with Web Services testing tools (XML, SOAP/UI).
  • Ability to write and understand complex SQL against Oracle databases.
  • Knowledge of load testing.
  • Knowledge of the health care industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project management and execution of multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of health care EDI formats and processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and arrive at a logical conclusion.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to evaluate production situations and determine the appropriate course of action and execute decisions.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100-110K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
