We are seeking a professional, reliable, and personable experienced Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and staff. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values attention to detail, and can balance front desk responsibilities with light administrative support.

Location: Austin, TX

Shift: Mon.- Fri., 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay: $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador by providing a welcoming, professional, and polished first impression for all guests and callers.
  • Manage the reception desk, including opening/closing duties, phone coverage, and visitor check-ins.
  • Greet and assist clients, guests, and vendors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Coordinate conference room and visiting office reservations; confirm bookings and provide status updates to relevant teams.
  • Assist with scheduling, records management, and general office support as needed.
  • Maintain security protocols by managing visitor lists and activating/deactivating keycards for personnel.
  • Support hospitality needs in shared spaces (conference center, lounge areas) and ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and fully supplied.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and mail machines; ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is in working order.
  • Assist with mail distribution, outgoing shipments, and other clerical duties.
  • Collaborate with staff at all levels to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or Receptionist in a corporate environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to represent the company’s brand positively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and basic software (Microsoft Office, Chrome River or similar systems a plus).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Commitment to creating a welcoming and collaborative environment that reflects the firm’s values.
