Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities Of HR Generalist
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and managers, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding.
- Administer and monitor employee leave programs, including FMLA, CT Paid Family Leave (CTPFL), CT Paid Sick Leave, Workers’ Compensation, and related policies.
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative functions, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee data updates in the HRIS system (ADP).
- Assist in implementing and promoting employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and maintain training records and compliance tracking.
- Conduct or assist with workplace investigations and address employee relations issues in a consistent, fair, and confidential manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to support employee retention and satisfaction initiatives.
- Maintain working knowledge of and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
- Perform additional duties and support HR-related projects as assigned.
Preferred Experience Of HR Generalist
- Associates degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of human resource experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of the organization verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
