Overview

We are hiring a qualified Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in the corrections setting in Lansing, Kansas. This is a full-time position, 13 week contract (at minimum), with guaranteed hours and a pay rate of $43.00/Hour for local nurses. Travel pay packages available for travel nurses - up to $1829/week for 36 hour work week!

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.

Base pay range

This range is provided by Amergis Healthcare Staffing. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Minimum requirements

• Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
