Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused District Manager to oversee a group of quick-service restaurants within a defined region. The District Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, developing top-performing teams, and maintaining a strong focus on guest satisfaction. This individual will act as a key business leader and brand ambassador, ensuring that every restaurant delivers consistent service, quality, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations and performance across quick-service restaurant locations.
- Ensure each location operates in full compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate service quality, food consistency, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
- Partner with the operations leadership team to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement across all units.
Financial & Business Management
- Manage the P&L for all restaurants within the district; monitor labor, food cost, and controllable expenses.
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve sales growth, profitability, and operational goals.
- Analyze financial and operational reports to identify performance gaps and implement corrective strategies.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor General Managers and their leadership teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, teamwork, and hospitality.
- Implement succession planning to ensure future leadership within the district.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to build leadership capability at every level.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Champion a guest-first culture focused on exceptional hospitality and food quality.
- Address escalated guest issues promptly and professionally.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the dining experience and ensure consistent brand representation.
Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, HR, Training, and Culinary teams to support new initiatives, promotions, and menu launches.
- Support the opening of new restaurants and ensure smooth transitions into the district.
- Collaborate with Facilities and Development teams to oversee remodels, repairs, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in quick service restaurants
- Proven track record of leading 5–10 restaurants and delivering strong financial results.
- Deep understanding of restaurant operations, P&L management, and service excellence.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire diverse teams.
- Analytical and strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-driven, hospitality-focused environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the district.
