Accounting Manager – General Ledger | Middletown, DE
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead our client's General Ledger (GL) accounting operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role offers the chance to step into a leadership position and oversee all transactional accounting functions while driving financial accuracy and compliance.
Base pay
$110,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Oversee and mentor a team handling transactional accounting (AP, AR, payroll).
- Manage GL accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Utilize SAP for accounting and reporting functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license OR strong manufacturing accounting experience.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
