The Accounting Manager will own the day to day maintenance of our accounting records and financial reporting. The role is part of a small team and offers exposure to all areas of our end to end accounting processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment where you can impact the company’s trajectory and the world’s transition to sustainable mobility solutions.

Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $140,000-$180,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day general ledger management
  • Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare and review various financial reports including financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement)
  • Assist with the implementation of accounting policies as required for new and existing US GAAP accounting standards, specifically ASC 606
  • Play a key role in global expansion including new entity creation, global consolidations and eliminations
  • Identify and execute opportunities for automation or system improvements
  • Assist with the design and implementation of financial applications and integrations as we continue to build out the enterprise applications landscape
  • Assist with various financial administration matters such as tax return and statutory filings
  • Build, document, and improve accounting processes, controls, policies and procedures
  • Work with business partners to improve and automate end to end processes (i.e. purchasing, inventory management, etc)
  • Maintain files and all supporting documentation in a logical and organized fashion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role or public accounting. Experience with a multi entity, international environment required.
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, 842 and 330. Previous revenue accounting experience highly desirable.
  • CPA or CPA track highly desired
  • Experience in Oracle NetSuite is strongly preferred
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous environment with little day to day direction
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to self-prioritize
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
