About the Opportunity:
Our client, a well-established leader in large-scale manufacturing, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support their growing finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Assist with the consolidation of financial results across multiple divisions and business units.
- Prepare analyses on cost trends, inventory movements, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and enhance internal controls.
- Participate in system improvement initiatives and help maintain accurate financial data.
- Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or multi‑entity organization.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
