Remote Cybersecurity Architect (AI experience) – Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a remote contract role with one of our premier healthcare services clients in Jacksonville, FL. The role is remote and requires AI security architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• The Cybersecurity Architect serves the company as an advisor on best practices and is responsible for designing and implementing project level security strategies, architectures and solutions that guide IT security direction including AI, AI Security, AI Security Architecture, and AI Security Research.
• Accountable for security architecture across a variety of applications or domains for projects/initiatives of small to medium size, complexity and risk.
• Develops actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise IT architecture is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business.
• Designs sub-components of larger security architecture blueprints or projects with clear focus and complexity.
• Performs due‑diligence activities including security monitoring to evaluate effectiveness of the enterprise security program and established controls.
• Implements enterprise security strategies, architectures and solutions that guide IT security direction.
• Conducts cybersecurity architecture and research for Artificial Intelligence and related integrations.
• Participates in governance processes to ensure consistent technology life cycle management.
• Maintains operational, architectural and design documentation including procedures, task lists, and architecture blueprints.
• Evaluates strengths and weaknesses in security architecture including performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, access and total cost of ownership.
• Facilitates project handoffs including preparing documentation and providing education and support for smooth transitions.
• Troubleshoots, recommends and executes action plans for issue resolution.
• Selects and designs tools that allow reuse of design components and patterns between projects.
• Promotes implementation of new technology, solutions and methods to improve business processes and value delivered to customers.
• Articulates complex solutions clearly to varied audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Identifies, analyzes and rationalizes risks to support sound business decisions.
• Develops working solutions or prototypes based on own designs and resolves issues that arise.

Required Skills

• Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field
• 4+ years of related work experience in security technology design, architectures, development and/or monitoring
• CISSP required at time of submittal/offer acceptance
• 2+ years (current) experience with AI security architecture; able to secure locally hosted AI models; knowledge of guardrails and their integration with locally hosted AI models
• Strong desire to stay up to date with latest security AI technologies and trends

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years designing security architecture on progressively complex IT projects
• 2+ years of cloud security experience
• Identity and Access Management experience with employee and consumer identity security
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred
• Experience using Agile methodology
