CBS Sports is hiring: Graphics Production Assistant (On Site) in Fort Lauderdale

Overview

Graphics Production Assistant (On Site) at CBS Sports. This role enhances the overall production quality of CBS Sports HQ and other programming by providing graphics support in a fast-paced sports news environment. This position is fully on-site, five days a week, at our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. An online portfolio must be submitted as part of the application process.

Day-to-Day

• Use Adobe Photoshop to cut assets (logos, player headshots/action shots).
• Incorporate assets into our graphics playout machine (Ross XPression).
• Operate Ross XPression (instruction will be provided if not familiar).
• Work with graphics team on long-term projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have sufficient knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of the rest of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Possess a demonstrated interest in sports.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year of professional experience (strong internships will be considered).
• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications

• Familiarity with rundown, newsroom and control room environment a plus.
• Knowledge of Ross Xpression a plus.
