As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. You will interact with individuals entering and exiting the location, manage access points, and communicate clearly with both team members and clients. What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized entry. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed per Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document all security-related incidents, access events, and unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Collaborate with site staff and management to address access concerns and contribute to a security-related presence at the location. Operate security-related equipment such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and communication devices to monitor the premises. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
