Position Summary

The main role of the Analyst is to coordinate reporting and valuation processes for 10+ CJP portfolio companies, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of the investment team. The Analyst will lead project management efforts for new reporting-related initiatives, such as adopting AI solutions and implementing cutting-edge IT tools to improve operational excellence. This role acts as a liaison between the CJP team and the DC team on M&A execution and fund administration matters, contributing to the efficient and high-quality execution of deals. Responsibilities

Serve as a central coordinator for collecting and updating both financial and non-financial data from CJP portfolio companies. Collaborate with key stakeholders at portfolio companies to ensure accurate and timely financial review inputs. Act as a central point of contact for inquiries from the Fund Management team, in close coordination with the Deal team. Valuation (30%)

Provide hands-on support to Deal team members throughout the valuation process. Prepare initial drafts of valuation reports, leveraging internal and portfolio company data. Support and manage the execution of documents required during the deal execution process and throughout the investment period. Handle internal reporting processes associated with deal execution activities. IR-Related Support (15%)

Receive guidance from IR team, including the Product Specialist, to prepare responses for questions from LPs (Japanese/English as appropriate) and internal/external materials relating to the CJP team. Other Project Management (10%)

Lead and drive CJP's reporting and technology enhancement projects. Qualifications

Education & Certificates Concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field, preferred Exceptional candidates in other majors considered, particularly those with relevant coursework or professional experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills Professional Experience 0-2 years of relevant analytical experience, required Prior experience in the asset management industry, preferred Strong accounting or financial background with the capability and desire to learn financial principles related to private equity Must be fluent in both English and Japanese in speaking, reading, and writing Advanced Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) skills required Ability to operate in a demanding and fast-paced environment and balance multiple tasks Significant overtime as well as availability outside of normal business hours frequently required Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Articulate, polished and well-rounded with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to succeed in a matrix organization with multiple areas of responsibilities High integrity and dedication to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive material Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000. The compensation range is specific to Washington, DC and takes into account factors including experience and training. In addition to base salary, the hired professional will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance, disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits, wellness programs, and possibly an annual discretionary incentive program based on performance.
