About the Role
The team is seeking a Senior Associate with significant experience in corporate international tax planning and cross‑border structuring. The role involves advising clients on the design, implementation, and post‑implementation of complex acquisitions, reorganizations, fund formations, and joint ventures. Additional exposure to M&A tax work is a plus. With a strong national platform this is an exceptional opportunity to work on challenging, high‑profile matters, and grow within a highly respected and technically advanced practice.
What You’ll Do
Advise multinational corporations and investment funds on U.S. and international tax planning and structuring.
Support clients through complex transactions, restructurings, and cross‑border expansions.
Integrate tax considerations within broader corporate and transactional strategies.
Collaborate with other practice groups to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Conduct detailed research and draft analyses on international tax issues and implications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
J.D. from an accredited law school; active California Bar membership (or eligibility for waiver).
5–7 years of experience at an Am Law 100/200 firm focusing on corporate international tax.
Strong technical knowledge of cross‑border structuring and U.S. international tax principles.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
Team‑oriented professional comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
