Where we work Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Turkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About your skills

Stock Management You excel at managing equity compensation programs, ensuring accurate tracking of stock grants, vesting schedules, and employee stock purchase plan participation. You understand the complexities of equity plan administration and can effectively oversee the full lifecycle of equity compensation.

Corporate Governance You bring strong expertise in equity plan compliance and corporate governance, including SEC reporting (Forms 3, 4, 5), ASC 718, SOX controls, and global tax/regulatory requirements. The role also supports corporate governance through Compensation Committee preparation, insider trading policy oversight, cap table/share pool management, and proxy disclosure. Experience with audits and M&A transactions is highly valued.

Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPPs) You have deep expertise in facilitating employee stock purchase programs, managing payroll deductions, discount calculations, and purchase periods. You understand the tax implications and regulatory requirements while ensuring seamless employee participation and accurate record-keeping.

Data Analysis You are skilled at analyzing complex equity compensation data to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders. You can transform raw data into actionable reports that support strategic decision-making and compliance requirements.

About this role As a Senior Equity Plan Administrator at Udemy, you'll take ownership of our global equity programs, ensuring they run seamlessly and compliantly while directly contributing to employee engagement and retention. This highly visible role partners with Finance, Legal, People, and Payroll, giving you the opportunity to influence processes at scale and advise on equity best practices. What you'll be doing

Administer RSU and PSU plans, employee stock purchase plans, and other equity compensation programs from grant issuance through settlement and reporting

Manage ESPP enrollment periods, purchase calculations, and participant communications

Prepare regulatory filings and compliance reports related to equity compensation programs

Analyze equity program data to identify trends and provide insights to leadership

Support annual equity refresh processes and special grant initiatives

Respond to employee inquiries regarding their equity compensation and provide clear guidance

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize program administration

Ensure all activities comply with SEC regulations, tax requirements, and corporate governance standards

What you'll have

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field; CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation strongly preferred

5+ years of experience in global equity compensation administration, ideally at a public company

Experience with equity management platforms (Morgan Stanley E*TRADE preferred)

Familiarity with SEC disclosure requirements and public company reporting standards

Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reporting

Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to employees

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Hiring Compensation Range

$112,000 — $140,000 USD
