Covenant College Job Description Adjunct Faculty Position in Spanish
The World Languages Department at Covenant College, an agency of the Presbyterian Church in America and an academically rigorous Christian college emphasizing the liberal arts in the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition, invites applications for an adjunct faculty position for the Spring 2026 semester.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ● Teach introductory, or intermediate, or advanced courses in Spanish in the context of a Christian perspective ● Plan lessons and assignments, provide instruction, grade assignments, respond to student inquiries, submit final grades
Qualifications: ● An appreciation and Understanding of the mission of Covenant College ● A Master's or PhD degree in Spanish Linguistics or Spanish Literature is preferred. A candidate with 18 hours of graduate coursework in Spanish will be considered ● Teaching experience preferred
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
