Job Description
Join our esteemed institution in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, as a Janitorial Worker, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our beautiful campus. Our institution is a private, Catholic, coeducational university with a rich history of academic excellence, serving nearly 3,000 students. You will be part of a team that upholds our high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Maintain an assigned tour of custodial duties according to the defined standards.
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
Adapt to various building schedules while serving students, staff, and faculty.
Work efficiently and effectively in a team-driven environment.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work overtime upon supervisor's request
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Essential Personnel Status for handling sensitive issues
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Two years of experience preferred but not necessary
Sensitivity to issues of ethnicity, disability, and diversity
Dedication to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution

Work Environment
Work in a vibrant campus environment with multiple student and staff-occupied buildings. The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a half-hour unpaid lunch. Employees are required to wear a red or maroon top (polo or shirt), dark pants, and sneakers. A uniform will be provided after 1-2 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
