Job Title:
Baker Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to prepare a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty desserts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baking techniques, food safety, and creativity in developing new recipes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent quality and taste.
Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
Decorate and finish baked items (e.g., icing, glazing, and garnishing).
Monitor baking processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking area.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Assist in inventory management — ordering, receiving, and storing ingredients properly.
Develop and test new recipes or seasonal baked goods.
Collaborate with kitchen or pastry team members to meet customer and business needs.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role.
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements.
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Certification or diploma in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry (preferred).
Food safety certification (preferred).
