Job Title: Order Picker
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. This role involves picking, packing, and stocking a variety of items, ranging from large metal or PVC piping to small fasteners or endcaps, depending on the phase of the construction project.
Responsibilities
Use RF scan gun to locate inventory.
Correctly pick, pack, and pull item types and quantities.
Operate pallet-jack, fork-lift, and push cart depending on inventory type.
Organize staging area by priority.
Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping and mopping as needed.
Operate computers at the will-call booth.
Assist customers, both internal and external, with item look-ups, availability, and order placement.
Essential Skills
Preferred warehouse or labor experience.
Ability to count accurately.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience with RF device or forklift.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience in order picking, warehouse operations, and RF device usage (electronic required).
Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and order pulling.
Ability to maneuver up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment
The position is based in a large warehouse filled with plumbing supplies, including 10-15ft pipes and small bolts and fasteners. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, which can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. Candidates must be comfortable with these environmental conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
