Join us as a per‑diem technologist and help improve women’s healthcare by bringing the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment to OB/Gyn office settings. You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule—no weekends or after‑hours—while providing high‑quality breast care to patients who need regular screening.

Opportunity Work in a patient‑centered environment and influence outcomes by ensuring all eligible patients receive annual screening mammograms. You’ll be available to cover on short notice and rotate through different practice sites.

Responsibilities

Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.

Assist the practice in ensuring all eligible patients undergo annual screening mammograms.

Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain the process to reduce anxieties.

Move mammographic equipment, adjust controls, and set exposure factors based on radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.

Practice radiation protection techniques using beam‑restrictive devices and patient shielding.

Follow safety standards and perform all required QA testing to meet MQSA, ACR, and state regulations.

Examine digital images for quality and report findings.

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Process routine paperwork and enter required data.

Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

Prepare all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and state requirements.

Assist the radiologist with QA/QC reporting and perform mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines.

Maintain QA documents necessary for FDA inspections and ACR accreditation.

Qualifications

Must be up to date on all CME credits.

Must be patient‑centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.

Able to perform a variety of technical activities related to screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Flexible and capable of multitasking.

Willing to cover on short notice.

Experience

Mammography: 2 years (Required)

License

ARRT (Required)
