RF Coil Engineer
role at
Nudge .
About Nudge At Nudge, our mission is to develop the best technology for interfacing with the brain to improve people's lives. We're starting with an approach that we believe can help the most people the fastest, and also allow us to learn as much about the brain as possible: developing a non‑invasive, ultrasound‑based device that can stimulate and image the brain at high resolution and depth. This is a vertically integrated effort building cutting‑edge hardware, software, and research capabilities to create products that can benefit millions — and eventually billions — of people.
About The Role
Engineer high channel‑count RF receive coil arrays that are integrated with a transcranial ultrasound device for state‑of‑the‑art 3T human MRI scanners.
Design and build pre‑amplifier and scanner interface circuits for RF coil arrays.
Evaluate and minimize electromagnetic interactions between transcranial ultrasound stimulation devices and an MRI scanner.
Design and build active RF probes for localizing ultrasound devices inside an MRI scanner.
Develop precise, high‑throughput, reliable test systems.
Own designs from concept through prototyping to deployment in clinical trials.
Work closely with mechanical engineers, software engineers, ultrasound engineers, and clinical operators.
About You
Strong engineering / physics first principles.
Exceptional proficiency in ECAD and electromagnetic simulation software.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
Strong RF engineering fundamentals.
Strong analog and digital fundamentals.
Demonstrated history of exceptional technical contribution.
Seniority level Entry level
Employment type Full‑time
